My 2007 Sequoia (1sr Gen) was needing some front end suspension maintenance. I was able to find refurbished Toyota OEM axles with slightly longer size for my lifted vehicle. They are located in CO, and are great to discuss your project/vehicle, if needed. https://www.cvjreman.com/. The total cost (with shipping of refurbished and then return old one axles) was about $750 for what look like brand new axles. This was one of the easier swap out for drivetrain parts on my vehicle.
I had 4 torn boots and old grease sprayed all over my suspension, engine, and frame. Slowly cleaning each part that I can access.
The local dealer was quoting over $2k for each CV axle replacement. I am convinced that the dealership is giving even higher parts and service quotes to entice customers to buy another new vehicle.
