Hello everyone,
I'm looking to buy a 2005 Toyota Sequoia SR5 with a V-8 4.7L engine and a salvage title. I'm looking for advice on whether this is a good buy or not.
I'm a relatively inexperienced car buyer, so I'm hoping to get some input from more experienced forum members. From what I can tell, the salvage title means that the car is no longer considered to be in its original, factory condition, however, it also means that it should be cheaper than a similar car without a salvage title.
Is a car with a salvage title still a good buy, or should I avoid it? Are there any particular considerations I should have when buying a car with a salvage title? How much should I be prepared to pay for this car?
I'm also interested in hearing any other advice that experienced car buyers might have, such as what to look out for when buying a used car, or what kind of maintenance is usually required for a car of this age and model.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
