I have a 1st gen sequoia, and as you are likely aware, the rear door loves to break.
A few months ago, I bought and installed the bypass lever that connects directly to the latch mechanism. It’s worked perfectly, but stopped opening the door as of today.
I’m unable to access the interior of the panel at the moment due to a camping set up, but it seems the issue may be that the door is remaining locked? The manual unlock mechanism hasn’t been working on it for about a month.
Has anyone else run into a similar issue, have any ideas, or anything that worked for them?
