2023 Toyota Sequoia Gas Mileage

What kind of gas mileage are you hoping the new 2023 Toyota Sequoia gets? It would be awesome to see over 22mpg on the highway!

That's probably an in-town number with lots of stop and go driving.

TRD Jon does a MPG Test and averages 21.7mpg on the highway! Not bad at all!

Alot of 3rd gen owners seem to share the same complaint. The hybrid i-FORCE MAX has plenty of power, but many owners report real-world MPG in the 14-18 MPG range. The relatively small fuel tank compared to the previous generation makes the frequent fill-ups feel even more noticeable.

My best hope is to get 20 mph on the highway ... I don't always get even that. City driving is rarely gets to 16 mph and hovers closer to 15. With a vehicle and an engine as big and powerful as it is, I guess hoping for better mileage is like hoping for gas prices $1 / gallon cheaper when I bought my 2024.
