New to this. More info. Went off reading. About 15 to 20 miles, last 3 were completely off trail in the desert southwest. 105 degrees. Next morning woke up to flat front tires
Those were 6 year old Michelin"s that did just fine. Till they didn't. I'll keep as short as possible, 1 spare, 105 degrees, running at minimum on water. Also, all by myself. This was stupid, on many levels, I"m truly ashamed. By the time at tire shop lost a 3rd......... Sitting there. beautifull Desert canyon all to myself, 2 flats, 1 spare, no Air, no tire repair kit. I've never left the trails before, never had a problem. I was always well behaved. Until this time. Wayed out my options, did some research, so happy still had cell service. Found a non profit offroad recovery organization in the southern Nevada area called SNOOR. after was 13 hours later, truck safely at truck stop 30 miles from canyon. I can't thank these people enough. For what they saved me. They are a nonprofit, which volunteers use their own resources, including gas, to rescue a old dummy like me. Glad you made it out safely. Lessons learned no doubt. Sounds like a tire repair kit, compressor, Garmin, and some preplanning are in your future when you go wheeling again. I run the at3w and like them. Beat the snot out of them on the trails and never had an issue.

I bought a cheap used set of these WITH Tundra wheels and bolted them on my 2000 Tundra work truck. They only had a little tread left so I kept an eye on them. I've driven thousands of miles and they won't wear out! I did some reading and it said that tire uses a special rubber blend that lasts and lasts. If I ever need a new set of tires on the Tundra or my 03 Sequoia this is what I'm buying!

Since purchase, absolutely pleased so far. Seen video, guy had 68,000 miles on them still 20,000 min left. This wasn't the reason I chose them, but definitely not complaining. Most likely, mine will age out before wearing out. Out here in desert southwest, climate is brutal on aging tires and batteries prematurely.
