Two problems and need your help:
My 2005 won’t go into 4 Lo and will only go into 4Hi if I first press the 4hi and also the center diff button at the same time. It won’t do 4hi without the center diff locked. When it does engage it sounds a little crunchy.
Is this normal? Can you do 4hi without doing the center diff if the system is working correctly?
And can you do 4Lo with the center diff on? Bc if not then maybe that’s why 4Lo doesn’t work???
Also, Anyone know which actuator controls 4Lo and center diff locked? Is it the one mounted on the transfer case? Maybe that’s what’s broken for me.
