Hey everyone, I got my wife a 2024 Sequoia Limited 4WD. After seeing one that was lifted she decided she wanted her’s leveled. So I had a very reputable shop install a Rough Country leveling kit. It looked awesome for a few weeks but now it seems like the rear has a sag or squat. It’s weird because it doesn’t always look squatted. Sometimes it looks fine. Anyone have any ideas or similar issues?
Thanks!

Hey there I have a 24 Limited TRD off-road. I have a squatting issue just like that. I installed the rough country 3.5” lift that was meant for the Tundra since a buddy was selling his truck.

His kit came with the longer 3.5” struts the Sequoia kit doesn’t come with. All I had to get was the rear spring spacers since his truck had air bags not springs.

Currently trying to figure out if the stock rear springs just went weak due to the higher lift in the front or if they need to be switched to longer springs.

I’m not sure if you guys can feel like the truck is hitting the bump stops often. Ours feels pretty bad.

I’ll reply with any information I get back.

I didn’t even think about the spring’s weakening in the back. I assumed it would just level itself out. The bumps in back are any worse than before. The front wheels measure 22” from center hum to bottom of fender. Left rear measures 21” and Right rear measures between 21.5” and 22”. Per Rough Country they should all be 22”.
Does yours have the Tow Package? Ours does and it’s a variable air suspension and after parked for a few minutes, you hear the air escape. Like an air brake on a Semi Truck.

When are you measuring the 21" and the 21.5" in the back? While the truck is running and the air suspension is on or are you measuring after you shut it off and the air escapes like the air brake on a semi?

Thanks to your suggestion, I’ve now measured it both ways. After the truck has sat idle and after driving it. It still measures the same. All but the left rear measure 22”, while that one measures 21”.

Hey everyone sorry about the late reply. I ended up getting the 3.5” lift springs from the Rough Country 3.5” lift for the Tundra. The install went perfect.

However, truck is still squatting in the rear just not as much.

I have two theories. The N1 3.5” front struts that were meant for the Tundra that I’m currently using are too long, making the rear look lower.

Or

The spring rate for the “Tundra” is too soft for the heavy hybrid battery in the rear.

Regardless, I’m getting tired of how it looks. Sometimes feel like going back to stock. I’ll have to install my stock front struts with the provided lift spacers and see if it makes any difference.

Kind of hard to tell in the pictures but this is current.
