New to Forum--Recently Purchased an 01 Sequoia 4wd

Hey all, new to the forum, looking forward to learning all about Toyotas and the 1st Gen Sequoia.

I was looking for a long-lasting SUV when I came across the infamous 2UZ-FE engine. And after searching a few months, I purchased my first ever Toyota this summer--a 2001 Sequoia Limited 4x4 with 127k, white with tan interior, no rust, clean title, 3" lift, and matteblack 17" TRW rims on 285/70/17 BF Goodrich TKOs.

The timing belt was replaced around 120k, and I've already replaced the normal front suspension components (UBJ, LBJ, struts, etc.), converted all lights to LED, and plan to replace all the speakers and stereo, add a backup camera, and a custom build stealth sub in the coming months.

Congrats on your purchase. That is a great looking vehicle. I can't believe how clean it looks. Wonder if the seats, carpet and or door panels were ever replaced. Thanks for sharing!

Everything inside is still original--the driver's seat has the normal button hole on the left side of the seat and has 1-2 weak spots on the bottom--I plan to patch the hole or get new leather for the 2 front seats. The carpet had a good cleaning before I purchased it and is in overall great shape. I plan to do a deep clean and leather conditioning on the seats before winter season gets here.

That's awesome. I love when vehicles like this are found and purchased. I'd like to think that if I still had my GX after 24 years, it would still look as good as it does now.
