Hitch Stabilizer for 2025 Sequoia

We purchased a trailer hitch cargo carrier for our 2025 Sequoia but the hitch stabilizer won’t fit due to the hitch receiver being encased, see picture. Does anyone have a solution for this issue? Thanks!

The picture just shows a stock receiver with pin so I am assuming your stabilizer must be a bolt that goes through the hitch hole and screws into the cargo carrier/stabilizer, probably has a 15/16 bolt head. You need to get a ratchet wrench not a socket wrench put the bolt in through from the right side to the left and tighten it if this is not totally clear feel free to ask a question or take a picture of the cargo carrier stabilizer hitch, usually though it's a threaded bolt that bolts into the implement that goes in the hitch that locks it into place and keeps it from wobbling. And yes, not the best design not a lot of room in there

Thanks for the reply. See attached picture showing how we made the hitch stabilizer work. We had to make up the 1 1/2” gap caused by the hitch design. The carrier remained solid after our recent 300 mile trip.
