Good morning everyone. I own a 2008 Sequoia Platinum. I am a weekend mechanic and maintain my own vehicles, especially my sequoia. Currently running at 255,000 miles

Good morning.

What all have you done to the 2008 in your 225,000 miles? I have a 2010 with 260K and my already-done list is pretty long. <g>

Of course there are also a fair number of things still wrong that I don't use and don't care about too. The 2" up/down suspension function that resets off at 7-8 mph for example.

I have done a quite a few things.
replaced the rear suspension air bags and compressor.
the rear passenger side control arms
most recently the starter
still left to-do:
replace the front passenger steering knuckle and new wheel speed sensors - parts in hand just have not gotten to it yet

right now I am trying to figure out the rear height sensors. the rear sits too high but I cant get to to adjust downward. The passenger side it higher than the driver side. I have adjusted the arm as far as it will go which helped. but it is still uneven and both sides are too high. I disconnected the battery and pushed the brake for about 1 minute to reset but that did nothing.

So awesome to see the older Sequoias reach that kind of mileage! Welcome to the forum!
