This will be a good place holder for all the 2023 Toyota Sequoia Towing Specs, including payload, hitch weights, max towing, and more.

I'm going to guess that it's really similar to the new Tundra specs. So maybe a max of 1,500 lbs payload and 12,000 lbs towing.

9,000 Pounds! Here's the info direct from the press release:

Since full-size SUVs need to do it all, towing – whether it be a trailer, boat or RV – is high on that list of demands. That’s why the all-new Sequoia offers up to an impressive 9,000-pound maximum towing capacity, a nearly 22% increase over the prior generation.

I knew something was up when I saw it was only a single axle Airstream :)

Looks like the max towing was bumped up to 9,500 pounds!

"The Sequoia can tow up to 9,500 lbs, a number that outdoes the Expedition and Tahoe, but trails the Jeep Wagoneer by 350 lbs."

Thinking about buying a Sequoia. We have a 4800 lb trailer but live in Colorado. We normally cut towing specs in half due to altitude. Any thoughts?

The Sequoia, with the twin-turbo and electric motor, should help offset most of the issues with high-altitude towing that older naturally aspirated engines suffered from. If you want to be conservative, I think you would be plenty safe if you figured 80% of the towing capacity of the new i-Force Max hybrid instead of 50% if you consistently tow over high-elevation passes.
