Looking to see and hear about the largest tire size you can get away without (or with minimal) rubbing. I recently bought the TRD rims and looking to get some AT's and would love to see what yall have or suggest!

Current set up: Stock height and rims/tires 2004 SR5 4wd. 265/65/17
I recently posted, my 06 with new Falken wildpeak at4w. 1000% rec. What size u want? I wanted biggest tire no rub no mods. They installed the 265/70R/17 I think perfect as is no lift. I just spent 1 year trying to sort ORIGINAL Suspension to get right. These are heavy trucks without the appropriate suspension to handle it. Long term. So it seems
To me.Just about all shit at 178,000miles, AND MINE IS 2WD, NEVER OFF ROAD. PAINT BEAUTIFUL ON RUST FREE FRAME AND COMPONENTS. MY SHORT STORY. I BOUGHT MINE FOR ITS POTENTIAL NOT THE WAY IT DROVE. DROVE THE WORST OF MY 4 TRUCKS. EASILY. IM 64 NOW NOT DOiNG SUSPENSION. I PAY! TOOK TO 5 SHOPS OVER 1 YEAR, ALIGN SHOP TWICE. ALL COULDNT OR WERENT CAPABLE OF DIAGNOSING AND GET RIGHT 1st time
Some my fault wanted to spend as little as possible AND BE RIGHT. AFTER REPLACING TIRES, THE FALKEN MUCH MORE AGGRESSIVE TIRE. GOT EVEN MORE BAD FEED BACK FROM SUSPENSION. 1ST SHOP BAD, 2ND DIDNT CARE 3RD UNQUALIFIED 4TH .... AND 5TH THE SERVICE BEEN LOOKING FOR. THIS JOB DO
ING THIS WAY WAS THE HARD WAY. NO ONE REALLY CARED, DUG DEEP, STRIVED FOR THE PERFECTION I WANTED. THIS ALL REPLACED IN ORDER, HINDSIGHT 20/20 IF U GET ABOVE 150,000 MILES ON A SUSPENSION, U WANT DUN RITE. AND UR KEEPING. DO IT RIGHT DO ALL 1 MUCH HEALTHIER THAT WAY..AND IT STINKS WHEN U SPEND $$$$ AND U FEEL and question who's right?So Be carefull modding your suspension. Go with proven results, I know mines 2wd, sits higher than most standard 4x4 lifts. Now rides absolutely beautifull. Went from worst to first wirh the falkens and my beautifull new steering rack. And stab links. Good luck on your decision. Note my 4,000 truck in 1 year of ownership has turned into 14. My goal was to fix, get right and enjoy. I hope to have this be my last.
